If you connect your new device with Dacom headset for the first time or connect your Bluetooth device after resetting your headset, you may need to connect manually.

Bluetooth connection

1. If the headset is in the off state, you need to press and hold the MFB multi-function button for about 5-8 seconds. After the blue light flashes once, the red and blue lights flash alternately, and the headset enters the pairing state;

2. Turn on the Bluetooth function on your phone and search for the headset's pairing name “ATHLETE+”;

3. Tap the pairing name on your phone and select Connect. If the headset is connected to the phone, the voice prompt “Connected” will be displayed.

Automatic re-connection

1. Within the connection range, the paired Bluetooth device will be automatically connected after the headset is turned on;

2. In the state where the standby is not connected, press the MFB multi-function button on the headset to automatically connect the paired Bluetooth device;

3. If you are in the call, listening to music, standby scene, within 10 minutes of going away and disconnecting the headset, when you return to the connectable range, you can automatically connect back to the headset.

Note: When the Bluetooth connection is paired for the first time, please control the distance between the Bluetooth headset and the mobile phone within 1 meter.

Activate Bluetooth function on your phone

Different phones may have different methods when starting the Bluetooth function, but the operations in the Android or iOS operating system are generally the same. Here's how to turn on Bluetooth in each system:

Android system

1. Turn on your phone and go to Settings > Wireless & networks > Bluetooth settings;

2. Check the box next to "Bluetooth" to turn on Bluetooth;

3. The Bluetooth device list will be displayed, click on “Search for new device”;

4. If the pair name of the Dacom headset product appears in the list, tap it to connect and use it.

iOS system

1. Turn on your phone and go to Settings > Bluetooth;

2. Move the Bluetooth slider to the "on" position;

3. The Bluetooth device list will be displayed, click on “Search for new device”;

4. If the pair name of the Dacom headset product appears in the list, tap it to connect and use it.

If you are searching for a Bluetooth device, and the Bluetooth pair name does not appear, the sound after the Bluetooth connection is blurred, etc., you can solve it by the following methods:

1. Keep the distance between the two devices within 9 meters (30 feet) or less;

2. Try to avoid to use it in the environments such as other Bluetooth devices, microwave ovens, wireless routers, and other electronic products;

3. Make sure the Dacom product and the Bluetooth device are fully charged and turned on;

4. Increase the volume of the Dacom product and the paired Bluetooth device;

5. You can also try to re-pair your Dacom product with your Bluetooth device.
